Pikopiko Squad

The Pikopiko Development Squad focuses on giving  young athletes the opportunity to improve their skills and experience the high performance environment in a supported way. Coaches focus on outcomes that support the development of the athletes’ skills in all areas – figures, routine skills, land drilling, and fundamental synchro skills.  The athletes learn to work with others of similar abilities and from different clubs – one of the highlights for athletes is getting to know swimmers and coaches from other clubs.

For 2021, we have 14 athletes in the Pikopiko Squad. A travelling team will be selected from this squad after a series of Training Camps to target an international competition in 2021 (dates and venue are still to be confirmed).  Squad members who are not selected to travel this year will have the opportunity to attend a Skills Development camp later in 2021. Athletes selected for the 2021 Pikopiko Squad are
