Each year ASNZ celebrates success with awards and presentations at the National Championships. The awards recognise outstanding service to the synchro community, as well as New Zealand selection and representation for athletes, coaches and managers.

Nominations for Service Awards are called for each year prior to the ASNZ National Championships. Details on how to nominate a potential award recipient can be found in the download section on this page or contact admin@artisticswimming.org.nz

• NZ Representative Pin (red stone) awarded for representation at World Aquatics (Previously FINA) Junior Worlds
• NZ Representative Pin (blue stone) awarded for representation at World Aquatics Worlds

ASNZ Spirit of Synchro Award - The Spirit of Synchro Award is a trophy, donated in honour of Sue Edwards – who, herself was the Spirit of Synchro in New Zealand until she passed away in 2018.  This Award recognises an individual who embodies the values and passion that Sue had for the sport of synchro – someone that goes above and beyond, to further the sport at a club or national level.  It could be an administrator, an athlete, a coach or a judge.
