Coaches and athletes train hard all year round perfecting moves, choreographing routines; and improving their technical skills. There are three opportunities each year to put those skills to the test and bring the routines to the stage:

• North Island Championships
• South Island Championships
• National Championships.

Competitions in 2020 will be held as follows:

• North Island Championships - May 22/23/24 - Auckland at St Cuthberts' Pool - to be hosted by Central Synchro with support from other Auckland Clubs - Meet Manager - Sarah Clark - sarahcclark@xtra.co.nz - CANCELLED
• South Island Championships - May 30/31 - Christchurch at Jellie Pool - to be hosted by Small Strokes.  Meet Manager - AnneMaree Ward - lagrange@xtra.co.nz - CANCELLED
